Alin Gheran is a strategic voice in advancing international economic relations between Europe and the Gulf region, with an extensive background in business development, economic diplomacy, and applied geo-economic vision. As President of the Euro-GCC Economic Platform, Alin leads regional cooperation initiatives, facilitating strategic partnerships between companies, high-level entities, and institutional players across Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

With over a decade of experience in leading high-impact business ventures in Europe, Canada, USA and MiddleEast, his cross-sector expertise bridges both the private and public spheres — from emerging market entry and cross-border investments to positioning European businesses within competitive international ecosystems.

Alin is widely recognized for his ability to turn vision into execution, architecting scalable economic models, sustainable collaboration frameworks, and high-level strategic networks with real-world results. His leadership has laid the foundation for viable economic bridges between Central & Eastern Europe and major business hubs in the Middle East, particularly the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

With a Master’s degree in Computer Science as Business Support  and advanced training in AI for Business from MIT Sloan School of Management, Alin combines deep technical knowledge with global business strategy, making him a driving force in reshaping industries and creating sustainable growth in today’s rapidly evolving market.

At the core of his work lies the intersection of economy, geopolitics, and innovation. In his role at Euro-GCC, Alin serves not only as a facilitator, but as a builder of ecosystems – connecting business leaders, government officials, and global investors to transform opportunity into tangible outcomes.
Liliana GROSARU-FILIP
Strategy and International Affairs (ROU)
Vice President, Co-Founder
Liliana Grosaru-Filip is the Co-founder of this economic initiative focused on fostering collaboration between European and GCC countries, where she also holds the role of Vice President for Strategy and International Affairs. In addition, under the framework of her NGO, the Political Research Group, she spearheads an economic security program in partnership with the United States.

This initiative includes organizing annual business trips to key U.S. states, designed to enhance strategic economic ties and featuring high-level meetings in Washington, D.C., aimed at fostering long-term collaboration.

As a distinguished international relations and security analyst, Liliana holds a PhD in political science from the National University for Political Studies and Administration in Romania. Her research delves into the “Forms of International Interventions after 9/11.” She has completed specialized training at the NATO School in Oberammergau and is recognized as a NATO expert in quality assurance management for education.Liliana is an Associate Lecturer at the NATO Training and Education Center in Brașov, Romania. In this role, she brings her extensive knowledge of international security and military affairs to the academic sphere.

She is also a senior expert with Women in International Security Romania, and since 2022, she has served on the executive boards of two prominent research committees within the International Political Science Association (IPSA) — Committee 44 (Security, Democratization, and Conflict) and Committee 24 (Armed Forces and Society).

Liliana is a regular contributor to global conferences and academic forums, where her insights on international security, transatlantic relations, conflict analysis, and military affairs have been highly influential. Her work continues to shape strategic discussions, making her a key figure in both academic and policy-making arenas.

Currently, as Vice President for Business Development & Strategy in tech industry, Bogdan excels at fostering strong relationships with clients and partners, creating opportunities for growth, and navigating complex negotiations. His leadership is instrumental in shaping business strategies that enhance revenue, brand value, and operational efficiency.

In his role as Associate Partner of the Rise Consortium and the Romania-Luxemburg Business Forum (ROMLUX), Bogdan engages actively in building cross-border collaborations, leveraging his expertise in EU lobbying, strategic networking, and international business planning. His experience spans across Europe, having honed his skills in Brussels and Slovenia, making him a key player in facilitating partnerships that drive global business expansion.

With a strong academic background, including a PhD in General Medicine from UMF Bucharest and advanced training in business management and EU lobbying, Bogdan’s proficiency in fields such as AI, Big Data, and Intelligent Automation make him an invaluable leader in the age of digital transformation. His fluency in English and French further enhances his ability to lead in international arenas, where his strategic vision continues to shape the future of business development and technological innovation.
